I know what you mean, Molly. I used to think Fall was over-blown in its legendary beutay and colors. But last fall as I walked everyday taking pictures with my cellphone, I noticed at had more pictures of fall than of any other season. I had walked for a year at Bemidji State Park, taking pictures of early spring, late spring, summer, then fall and finally winter. (Unfortunately I am not tech savvy enough to learn how to download them on to my computer so I will have to start all over again.)I had an assignment to send them to my son to show I was indeed taking my daily hike. The surprise to me was the variation I found in fall color compared to the near monotonous greenery of summer and yes even spring.
